The amazing bubble gum pink blooms of the Knock Out® Double Pink Rose Tree are a sight to behold when they burst forth in early summer. A repeat bloomer, this tree form of Rosa 'Radtkopink' will grow to around 4 to 5 feet tall and produce its large double flowers all season long. It provides all the benefits of the Knock Out® Double Pink Rose but in an elegant and impressive tree form.
High disease resistance makes the Knock Out® Double Pink Rose Tree easy to grow and care for. Considered winter hardy in zones 5 to 10, this rose tree stands up to cold weather. It is ideal for adding some height and structure to your garden, whether planted in a container or directly in the ground. A pair of these would make a stunning entrance or pathway highlight.
Knock Out® Double Pink Rose Tree Care
Knock Out® Double Pink Rose Tree performs best in full sun. It prefers a rich and fertile soil that is moist yet well drained. Water deeply and often until established and from then onwards to keep the soil moist but not overly wet. A rose-specific fertilizer will help support its lush growth and repeating blooms.
The Knock Out® Double Pink Rose Tree is best pruned in late winter or early spring. Using a clean and sharp pair of pruners, cut back the branches to an outward facing bud. Remove spindly and crossing branches. An annual mulch of organic matter will help conserve moisture over the hotter months.
Knock Out® Double Pink Rose Tree Spacing
The Knock Out® Double Pink Rose Tree can grow to 4 to 5 feet tall with a crown around 3 to 4 feet wide. Spacing from 4 to 6 feet apart will give room for the canopy to fully develop.
