For some serious impact, why not try the Knock Out® Red and White Rose Duo. This set includes one ‘Radtko’ rose with double cherry-red blooms and one ‘Radwhite’ rose with pure white flowers. These multi-award winning shrubs start blooming in late spring and continue to flower until the fall. Providing fantastic color and fragrance, these shrubs grow to around 3 to 4 feet tall.
Fantastic disease resistance and cold hardiness (down to USDA zone 5) make the Knock Out® Red and White Rose Duo easy to grow and care for. These shrub roses are perfect for planting in a mixed border, large container or established rose garden. Both roses were bred by the internationally recognized Will Radler.
Knock Out® Red and White Rose Duo Care
The Knock Out® Red and White Rose Duo performs best in full sun and in fertile, moist and well-drained soil. Regular watering is required after planting and for the first growing season to help them establish. Fertilize with a slow-release, balanced feed or rose-specific fertilizer in spring.
Prune in late winter or early spring. Using clean and sharp pruners, cut back the previous growth to around 12 inches tall, just above an outward-facing bud. Remove any dead or diseased wood at this time.
Knock Out® Red and White Rose Duo Spacing
You can expect the Knock Out® Red and White Rose Duo to grow to around 3 to 4 feet tall and wide. Space them 3 to 6 feet apart depending how closely you would like them to intermingle when they are mature.
