The Lime Marmalade Coral Bells is a fast-growing perennial with bold chartreuse foliage. The color is enough to make this plant stand out, but the shape of the leaves is also noteworthy as the lobed, ruffled foliage is full and dense. White flowers bloom on tall stalks in the spring, but the flowers are not very showy, at least not when compared to the frilly foliage.

Coral Bells need a spot with at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight. Use soil that is neutral, rich, moist, and well-drained. This stunner will need one inch of water each week to maintain its leafy good looks, but established plants are more drought-tolerant. Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer during the spring to encourage more foliage production.

This plant is typically grown for its foliage, so the flower stalks can be removed when they appear so the plant will direct more energy into the leaves. The flower stalks can be removed after the blooms fade if you want to enjoy the flowers. Remove damaged growth at any time and divide this plant every few years.
