Think of ‘Pink Potion’ flowers as little, magical pink fairy wands in the garden, turning it into a wonderful place where the bees, butterflies and maybe even a fairy can be found! These colorful spikes of pink flowers cover the plant to entice you to look closer to see what is going on in their world.
Speedwell is a fabulous pollinator plant with long lasting blooms throughout the late spring and into summer. The deep green foliage accents the blooms making them a standout in the garden. You don’t just get a couple of flowers on the plant, it is literally covered with flowers that don’t seem to be bothered by disease, insects or Bambi.
Magic Show Pink Potion Spike Speedwell Care
As a clump forming perennial it is of medium height and spreads to 1 ½ ft. wide. While it doesn’t require regular deadheading (removing old blooms) it will reward you with even more blooms that you can ever imagine. It is hardy from Zone 4a-8b. A loamy, well-draining soil is ideal for ‘Pink Potion’ and performs best in full sun.
Magic Show Pink Potion Spike Speedwell Spacing
‘Pink Potion’ can handle just about any job in the garden, from a cut flower to a mass planting, used as a border or container plant and it is fabulous in a cottage garden.
