When planted in full sun it will give you better flowering results. However, it can tolerate some shade. Soil should be moist but well drained. This perennial has average water needs. Soil should also be enriched soil. The Magic Show Wizard of Ahhs Spike Speedwell is not picky about soil types or Ph levels. Fertilizer should be applied in the spring. After the flowering has finished for the season it should be cut back.
