Mine No Yuki Camellia Plant Care
Camellia plants prefer slightly acidic soil with good drainage. Plant in an area with partial sunlight because this plant can only handle 2 to 3 hours of direct light each day. The Mine No Yuki Camellia will flourish with partial light all day. Water when the top couple of inches of soil is dry to the touch. Cut back slightly on the water during winter.
Feed the Camellia sasanqua 'Mine No Yuki' during the spring using an acidic fertilizer. Prune the plant in the spring to cut back damaged parts or overgrowth.
Mine No Yuki Camellia Plant Spacing
This plant is relatively large and should be 5 to 8 feet tall and wide once established. Plants can be spaced as close as 3 feet if you intend to create a hedge-like appearance. Space plants further apart if that better suits your area or the desired look.
