The Miss Molly Butterfly Bush has a bloom season that begins in the spring and lasts until late fall. Its blooms are a deep pink to almost red and they pair perfectly with its green foliage. This butterfly bush grows to a height of forty-eight to sixty inches with a spread of forty-eight to sixty inches. Its blooms are fragrant attracting hummingbirds and butterflies. This butterfly bush is stunning in sunny landscapes, border planting. Thanks to its compact size and refined, mounded growing habit, it works well in container planting and smaller landscapes. To care for your butterfly bush, planting in full sun is necessary with a minimum of 6 hours of sun per day. This is a heat and sun loving bush and will thrive in hot climates. It has average water needs and requires good drainage as its roots are sensitive to rot. Avoid planting this butterfly bush in the fall, instead plant in the spring to mid-summer for optimum results. Fertilize with a slow release fertilizer in the spring.
