Topping out between 4’-5’ in height, the Miss Violet is typically equal in girth, spreading to 4’-5’. These bushes have an extended bloom period, which ranges from summer through the fall. Expect to see deep purple flowers to go alongside muted green foliage. The bush is also deciduous, which means the Miss Violet’s leaves will fall off every fall and come back in the spring. Accompanying the bush’s brilliant color is the fragrance, which adds an additional layer of depth to the landscape plan. Miss Violet Butterfly Bush Care

Winter-hardy and summer-tolerant, the Miss Violet can be grown in a variety of climate zones. As long as these bushes are planted in full sun and given an adequate amount of water, they’re able to thrive in most soil conditions. However, for optimal growth, hotter areas are ideal. In extreme heat, be sure to increase the watering schedule, as drought-resistant doesn’t equate to being drought-proof.
