The Moonlit Lace® Viburnum is just as charming as the name suggests. Tiny white buds have a lace-like appearance and open to reveal dainty flower clusters. Enjoy the stunning flowers during the spring. The Viburnum davidii x tinus 'sPg-3-024' has lovely flowers, but the foliage is also worth noting. Leathery leaves have a red tint when they first emerge and settle into a dark green with age. Red stems and branches provide an unexpected and subtle pop of color.

The mounded, upright growth habit is dense and full. The Moonlit Lace® Viburnum makes a beautiful hedge, screen, or foundation planting. Plant it along a deck or porch to add some privacy without completely blocking sight lines. You can also line a driveway or create a backdrop to a mixed bed. The Moonlit Lace® Viburnum is evergreen and will provide year-round color.

Moonlit Lace® Viburnum Care

Moonlit Lace® Viburnum grows best in full sun to partial shade and requires water weekly, especially when planted in full sun. It prefers rich, moist, and well-drained soil. Apply a layer of organic mulch to keep the soil moist and protect the roots from warm temperatures. Use a balanced fertilizer to promote new growth in spring.

Remove spent flowers to keep the Viburnum looking tidy. Shape the shrub as needed in early summer once the flowers fade.
