  • One-Piece Cast Aluminum Alloy
  • 5-1/2" x 3" Beveled Blade
  • Curved Ergonomic Shape
  • Lifetime Warranty

No Blist'R Trowel fits your hand better than the standard trowels everyone sells and quickly becomes your favorite tool to guard. It’s a one-piece aluminum alloy casting, so there’s no weak joint to loosen or break, and the beveled edge slides into soil easily without any wrist-twisting. The curved profile feels natural when you’re scooping, loosening, and pulling soil back around roots. If you do a lot of planting from cell packs, bulbs, or small perennials, this is the trowel that keeps your hand happier at the end of the day.

This is a tool for the long-term. The 5-1/2" x 3" blade gives you real capacity for soil work, but the whole trowel stays light at about 0.5 lb, so it doesn’t feel like a brick in your pocket or bucket. The vinyl cushion grip reduces friction and hot spots while giving you steadier control in dry mix or gritty native soil, helping you work longer with fewer blisters.

Product Specs

  • Blade size: 5-1/2" x 3"
  • Overall length: 11"
  • Material: One-piece aluminum alloy casting
  • Weight: 0.5 lb

Product Tips

  • Use the beveled edge to slice into compacted soil, then lever gently—no need to pry hard.
  • For transplanting, dig a slightly wider hole than the plug, set the plant, then use the back of the blade to firm soil lightly.
  • In rocky beds, work at an angle and lift stones out rather than forcing straight down.
  • Rinse after use; aluminum cleans up quickly and stays smooth for the next job.
  • Store out of direct sun when possible so the cushion grip stays in better shape over time.

FAQs

What makes the No Blist'R Trowel different?

It’s a one-piece cast aluminum tool with a curved ergonomic design and a cushion grip, built to reduce hand stress and help prevent blisters during repetitive digging.

How to use the No Blist'R Trowel?

Drive the beveled edge into soil at a slight angle, scoop and lift to open the planting pocket, then loosen the bottom with short pulls. Set your plant, pull soil back in, and press lightly to remove air gaps. For bulbs, use the blade depth as a guide, then backfill and firm gently.

Will it bend or break like a typical trowel?

It’s designed not to. The solid aluminum alloy casting eliminates the common “handle joint” failure point found on cheaper trowels.

Is it good for heavy clay?

It can work in clay, but it’s best when the soil is slightly moist or pre-loosened. In very dry clay, water first or loosen with a fork to reduce strain.

What warranty comes with it?

It’s backed by A.M. Leonard’s lifetime warranty program.
