Obsidian Coral Bells awaken in spring with eye-catching, deep maroon, ruffled foliage. In June, long spikes adorned with white flowers make their debut in your garden space. A truly unique cultivar to add to your garden.
This is a low-maintenance perennial growing 8-10 inches tall and 15-18 inches wide. Winter Hardy in USDA zones 4-8. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies with its tall flowers that bloom during the summer. Plant several coral bells and hostas together for a dramatic color palate in the garden. Also great for container plantings. This is a deer resistant plant.
Obsidian Coral Bells Care
Plant in full sun to part shade, well-drained soil. Prefers acidic soil. Tolerate alkaline and clay soils. Water regularly. Has some drought tolerance once established.
