If you’re looking for a deep, red rose that will reward you with blooms during the entire warm season, look no further. This Paint The Town Rose provides beautiful, many layered bright red blooms. This rose bush adds an element of elegance and romance to any landscape. It can be planted in a border, a raised bed, or even a container as long as it’s properly watered. 

This perennial is hardy in zones four through eight. Like most roses, this plant is vulnerable to deer. However, it is disease resistant, and of course, a dream for nearby bees. This would also make a beautiful addition to any cut flower garden, or landscape.

This rose loves full sun. It also thrives in moist, well drained soil. If it hasn’t rained recently, be sure to give this rose a bit of water so it remains healthy and strong. To keep the rose flowering as beautifully as the first day you got it, organic fertilizer can be added in the early spring.

Pruning roses is an effort rewarded. Pruning back a rose once the bloom is spent will encourage new stems to emerge from below. Trimming the rose after the season is finished will provide a nice base for new growth in the spring. 

Easy Elegance® Paint the Town Rose Spacing

This perennial works wonderfully as a border plant. It has the potential to reach two to three feet high. It grows consistently throughout the season, and it should be spaced two to three feet apart in order to provide enough air flow between rose bushes.
