‘Pardon My Lavender’ bee balm is an absolute pollinator magnet in the garden! It will look like a pollinator convention with bees, hummingbirds, butterflies and a host of other pollinators. Not only are the flowers fragrant but the leaves are fragrant too with a spicy, clove-like scent.
‘Pardon My Lavender’ is resistant to fungus unlike many other monarda, which makes it the perfect plant for wet areas. The purple/pink blooms cover the plant making it an ideal border plant. Bee balm is native to North America and was used by many Indian tribes as a medicinal. It blooms all summer long for lots of color in the garden! It is also resistant to rabbits as well.
