The Pearl Glam Beautyberry will bring glam to your yard for seasons! From the deep purple foliage, white blooms in the spring and purple berries in the summer, your yard is sure to be talk of the town! No deadheading is required. It is also resistant to deer and its upright, space saving habit make this one a favorite.

The foliage is a gorgeous dark purple. Bloom season begins in late spring and brings white flowers that turn to violet purple berries in the summer. This shrub has a garden height of forty-eight to sixty inches. The spread of this plant reaches up to forty-eight inches. The upright habit makes it great for screening. Plant as a border plant or focal point in any landscape. It will also do well with mass planting.

Pearl Glam Beautyberry Care

Plant your Pearl Glam Beautyberry in full sun for optimal flowering and fruiting. Plant in well drained soil. It is adaptable to all soil types with varying PH levels. If pruning is desired, it should take place in the early spring. Remove any dead wood in the spring. Dieback is common in cooler climates. It will set fruit without a pollinator. Water needs for this shrub are average.

Pearl Glam Beautyberry Spacing

To space your Pearl Glam Beautyberry properly, space at minimum 28” inches center on center. When plating for screening purposes, mass planting, or border planting, proper spacing is important for the health and longevity of your plant.

Interesting Fact(s) - Callicarpa is believed to repel mosquitoes, and the North American species, C. americana, has been used this way through the South throughout history.

Nice plant, well packed and in good condition when received. Shipping was very slow but plant is doing well so far. Had hoped to have it for Mothers Day or shortly after. Fairly small plant for the price but couldn’t locate one anywhere local. Excited to see it grow and produce beautiful purple berries!
