Growing Zones
If you are looking for a pretty pink rose that does not grow too tall, the Pink Crush Rose might just be the answer. A miniature rose, Rosa Pink Crush, grows to around 18 to 24 inches tall and produces stunning pale to mid-pink blooms on top of its mounding green foliage. A compact habit makes this rose a versatile option for many garden locations.
The Pink Crush Rose is hardy and suitable for growing in USDA zones 5 to 11. It has a densely branched, mounding habit, supporting a profusion of blooms come early summer. Pink Crush is ideal for growing as a specimen in an herbaceous border or en masse for a block of color. It is also suitable for growing in a container to brighten up a sunny patio or deck.
Pink Crush Rose Care
To get the best from the Pink Crush Rose, grow it in full sun. As with other roses, it favors a rich soil that is moist and free draining. Irrigate frequently on planting and for the first couple of growing seasons. Mulching annually will help prevent moisture loss over the hotter months and insulate the roots in winter. Fertilize with a specific rose feed as directed on the label.
In late winter to early spring, you can remove any dead, damaged or diseased wood and prune back stems to an outward-facing bud. Deadhead the faded blooms to keep a neat appearance and encourage new buds to form.
Pink Crush Rose Spacing
When fully grown, the Pink Crush Rose can reach a height and spread of 24 inches. Multiple shrubs can be planted out at a spacing of around 2 to 3 feet apart.
