Bees and butterflies will regularly visit the blooms. Hummingbird Mint is drought tolerant and easy to maintain. Grow Poquito™ Orange Hummingbird Mint as a perennial in zones 5 through 10.

Poquito™ Orange Hummingbird Mint Care

This beauty needs at least 6 hours of sunlight per day. The soil should be moist and well drained. The Poquito™ Orange Hummingbird Mint is drought tolerant once established, but be sure to water the plant during a dry period to encourage continued blooming. Apply a balanced fertilizer during the spring to ensure abundant flowers.

Deadhead the plant by removing the flower spikes as the blooms fade. Removing the spent blooms will redirect energy into new flower spikes. Divide the plant as needed during the spring.
