The collection includes Hosta 'Fortunei Aureomarginata,' 'Francee,' 'Gold Standard,' 'Guacamole,' and 'Night Before Christmas.' Spade-shaped leaves are predominantly green, and some varieties have white or chartreuse accents for added dimension. Tall flower spikes rise from the center of the rosette in spring or summer and produce dainty, pollinator-friendly flowers in shades of white or light lavender.

Create a leafy border along a walkway or patio, add greenery to the shady side of a home or shed, or grow Hostas in a container to enjoy flexible placement options. Premium Hosta Collection Care

Select planting locations in full to part shade. Hostas can handle morning sun as long as they receive afternoon shade. Plant in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Water Hostas consistently for the first year. Established plants are drought tolerant and can handle dry conditions. Fertilize annually each spring.

Remove flower stalks when the blooms fade to maintain a tidy appearance. After the first heavy frost, trim all growth to ground level. Divide full plants in the spring or fall.
