  • USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9
  • Height 8-10 Inches Tall
  • Spread 26-30 Inches Wide
  • Light Requirement is Full Shade to Partial Shade

Wanting to add a soft touch to your home’s pathways or a bit of color to shaded areas? Opt for the Primo Pistachio Coral Bells, a smaller perennial that’s big on color! These plants are salt-tolerant, making them perfect for lining the driveway or other pathways.

Native to North America, these plants usually top out around 8”-10” in height, but produce an abundant spread, which is typically 26”-30”. You’ll see gorgeous pink flowers during the summer bloom, and another full color pop with green and yellow foliage in the fall. Due to its size, this plant is an excellent filler, but it can be worked into landscaping, mass plantings, and containers.

Primo Pretty Pistachio Coral Bells Care

Although these plants don’t need much sun, keep in mind that growth will be slow in full shade, so at least partial sun is recommended. Make sure to get these perennials on a regular watering schedule, as they won’t tolerate drought conditions. Soil quality is important to these perennials, as at least average soil conditions are necessary for the survival of the plant. For those planting in regions with a freeze/thaw cycle, add an extra layer of compost around the plant’s roots to prevent heaving out of the soil. Finally, don’t worry about trying to protect these from deer, as they’re as close as possible to being deer resistant.

Primo Pretty Pistachio Coral Bells Spacing

Plan for at least 26”-30” of spacing, center on center, for these thick perennials.
