Primo Wild Rose Coral Bells has got it made in the shade, or in a little sun. This heuchera hybrid is one of the most diverse examples yet of the shade-loving perennial. Primo Wild Rose delivers rose-purple leaves, almost like burgundy wine, that hold interest through winter. Each leaf has deep, dark-gray veining to really make the foliage stand out. It's also considered deer resistant but a friend of pollinators.

Growing to only about 10 inches high, Primo Wild Rose Coral Bells makes a pretty plant against shady walls or sidewalks. Add it as a filler to a featured container for year-round color. A small pink and purple flower appears on a slender stem about a foot above the red foliage in summer. Heucheras are native to North America, so they tend to be easy-care color additions to nearly and container or landscape.

Primo Wild Rose Coral Bells Care

Plant your Primo Wild Rose Coral Bells in fertile soil that drains well. It is cold hardy to zone 4 and can tolerate heat as high as zone 9, so it's versatile in more ways than one. In spring, you only have to prune away foliage that looks worn or damaged. Otherwise, just water your heuchera and watch it grow into a healthy rounded shape.

Primo Wild Rose Coral Bells Spacing

Several Primo Wild Rose Coral Bells can form a pretty mass planting or low border. They spread to nearly 20 inches around, so space the plants at least 20 inches apart from center to center.
