Red Diamond Midsize Loropetalum, Loropetalum chinense ‘Shang-Red’, is a compact evergreen shrub with four seasons of dark burgundy foliage. Blooms red in late winter to early spring. Makes a dramatic accent in the shrub border or as in mass plantings. Perfect for a colorful, informal hedge.

Plant in well-drained soil, rich in organic matter. Water regularly to establish and then when soil becomes dry. Fertilize yearly in late spring. Prune after flowering.
