Similar to the Red Drift® Rose Bush, this Tree Form mirrors all its wonderful attributes but in the form of a miniature tree. Available as a standard, the Red Drift® Rose Tree Form develops spectacular red blooms amongst its rounded head of dark green foliage. A reblooming rose, it will flower from early summer until the fall.
With great disease resistance, the Red Drift® Rose Tree Form is easy to grow. This rose is cold hardy and grows well in USDA zones 5 to 11. Red Drift® Rose Tree Form is perfect for growing in a container on a patio, or for adding some structure and height to a border. Try lining a pathway with these beautiful rose trees to create a stunning display.
Red Drift® Rose Tree Form Care
To encourage the Red Drift® Rose Tree Form to rebloom, provide at least 6 hours of direct sunlight. It prefers fertile and well-drained soil but also needs regular irrigation to keep the soil moist. Feed with a rose-specific fertilizer as instructed by the manufacturer.
Deadhead frequently to encourage new blooms to form. Prune back to an outward-facing bud in late winter using sharp and clean pruners. A spring mulch of organic matter will not only reduce moisture loss but will also keep weeds at bay.
Red Drift® Rose Tree Form Spacing
The Red Drift® Rose Tree Form produces a trunk around 3 to 4 feet tall and a crown around 2 to 3 feet wide. Space each plant around 3 to 5 feet apart to allow adequate air circulation around the foliage.
