The Reminiscent Coral Rose provides a rose's classic beauty and fragrance but with minimal care and maintenance. This new variety is an instant favorite that boasts beautiful bowl-shaped flowers in a deep pinkish-coral hue with slight copper accents in the centers. The lovely blooms are complemented by broad, dark green foliage with serrated edges. This easy-care rose bush blooms summer through fall.
The Reminiscent Coral Rose thrives with limited care, and this flowering bush is both heat-tolerant and disease-resistant. Plant this striking shrub in a border, landscape, or mass planting, or as a hedge. This plant makes an excellent specimen or focal point, and it can also be used in a container for added flexibility. The fragrant blooms make lovely cut flowers, too. This deciduous shrub grows as a perennial in USDA growing zones 4a through 9a.
Reminiscent™ Coral Rose Care
Newly planted roses should be well-watered and need a drink every few days for the first growing season. When the plants are established, they need water once or twice a week, depending on the conditions. Use rich soil with good drainage. Plenty of full sun will promote abundant blooms, so find a spot that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight.
This shrub blooms on new wood, so trim the plant back by ⅓ in the early spring to promote new growth. Carefully make cuts above the buds so the shrub will continue to push out gorgeous flowers. Deadheading is not necessary, and the plant will continue to push out new blooms during the summer and fall regardless; however, removing spent flowers will maintain a tidy appearance. Apply a granular rose fertilizer in the spring to further support new growth and abundant blooms.

The Reminiscent Coral Rose is a medium-sized plant that reaches 24 to 42 inches tall and 24 inches wide. Space shrubs 24 inches apart for mass plantings. Leave at least 36 inches when planting near a building or featuring as a specimen or focal point.
