Growing Zones
Sedum is perhaps one of the easiest plants to care for since Sedum care resembles neglect. The self-sufficient ROCK 'N GROW® 'Coraljade' Sedum provides lush foliage throughout the summer, fall, and winter. Thick, green leaves are surrounded by citron green buds that emerge during summer. The buds open in late summer or early fall to reveal soft coral-pink flowers that form clusters and create a dome-like appearance.
This heat-tolerant plant thrives in borders, landscapes, mass plantings, and containers. The flowers can be removed and used as cut flowers or dried flowers. Sedum attracts bees and butterflies while being rabbit-resistant. ROCK 'N GROW® 'Coraljade' Sedum is a perennial in USDA zones 3 through 9.
Rock N Grow® Coraljade Sedum Care
Sedum craves light, so plant in full sun. This plant can handle average or poor soil, and it is not picky about the pH levels. The only requirement regarding soil is that it needs to be well-draining since stonecrop prefers dry conditions. Established plants in the ground will only need water during a drought, while container-grown plants will need water when the top several inches of the soil completely dry out. Sedum does not require feeding, so do not fertilize.
Pinch back new growth before the plant blooms to create thicker stems and more full plants. Remove spent flowers during the growing season. Dead growth can be removed when the plant dies back or in the spring before new growth appears.
Rock N Grow® Coraljade Sedum Spacing
ROCK 'N GROW® 'Coraljade' Sedum is an upright, medium-sized plant that will be 16 to 18 inches tall. When planting, space plants 28 to 30 inches apart to give the Sedum room to spread out.
