Imagine a sunny area of your yard filled with salmon-pink flowers in late summer and early fall. Rock 'N Grow Popstar Stonecrop Sedum is a true garden star. The pinkish flowers attract butterflies and bees, and even when not blooming, the sedum displays a mound of blue-green leaves and showy dried stems. Its beauty alone makes this a desirable plant, but the hybrid sedum also uses little water and is salt tolerant, so you can plant this little shrub nearly anywhere in your landscape or containers.

Rock 'N Grow Popstar Stonecrop Sedum grows in a rounded shape to less than a foot high and 16 to 20 inches around. The bouquet of salmon color is a perfect complement to blue-green foliage found on this and other garden plants. Popstar is low enough to feature as a filler in a container, in a bed before taller shrubs or as a mass planting. The low-growing shrubs can cut down on weeds and erosion and the faded flowers look great in winter. It's such a pretty and colorful plant with practical uses.

Rock 'N Grow Popstar Stonecrop Sedum Care

Rock 'N Grow Popstar Stonecrop Sedum needs full sun to bloom fully. It can grow in any soil type, as long as the soil drains well. Once planted, it requires little care; there is no need to fertilize sedum. It needs little to no watering and should tolerate brief periods of drought. You can give the shrub a light pruning for shape in late winter or early spring, just as you see some greening at the base. Popstar can survive cold winters of zone 3 and higher and tolerate summer heat up to zone 9.

Rock 'N Grow Popstar Stonecrop Sedum Spacing

When planting Rock 'N Grow Popstar Stonecrop Sedum as a mass planting or low border, place the plants about 20 to 24 inches apart from each plant's center.
