These are great for cut flower gardens in sunny areas. The lupine plants bloom all summer and attract butterflies, bees, hummingbirds and songbirds. The plants are low maintenance and will come back each year without much work at all. The plants have green foliage and an upright growth habit.

Newly planted lupine may require watering more often until its established or in periods of drought. Fertilize the plants one a year using a slow release fertilizer designed for perennials in early spring. You can deadhead or trim off the dead parts of the plant (leaves and spent flowers) at any time during the growing season.
Russell Hybrids Lupine Mix Spacing
Plant Russell Hybrids Lupine Plants at least 30 inches apart, center on center. This will ensure the plants have proper air circulation and enough room for the roots to expand once mature.
