The Scentlandia Sweetspire is a very versatile plant and one of the most fragrant sweetspire out there! Its compact size makes it wonderful for any space. It is tolerant to shade and will thrive in the most wet soils. The blooms are larger and more tolerant to colder climates than other sweetspires. You are sure to love this one!
Blooms begin to appear in the early summer. The white blooms are paired with lovely green foliage. It is highly fragrant. This perennial has a height and spread of twenty-four to thirty-six inches. Its compact size allows for versatility. Plant near a window and you will enjoy its fragrance. It does well with mass planting, edging, border plating. It makes for wonderful ground cover. It is a great addition to any landscape or garden.
Scentlandia Sweetspire Care
The Scentlandia Sweetspire is extremely shade tolerant. You can plant in full sun, part shade, or full shade. It has average water needs. This shrub can tolerate all soils with varying PH levels. The Scentlandia Sweetspire can tolerate wet soils. Mulching around the base is preferred. Once new growth appears, dead stems can be removed. Pruning should take place after new growth emerges.

Spacing for the Scentlandia Sweetspire should be at minimum 24” center on center, when planting in proximity such as border or mass plating. Proper spacing ensues the health of your plant and strong roots.
