The Slowmound Mugo Pine or Pinus mugo 'Slowmound' is a compact, evergreen shrub. The upright branches bear 1.5 to 2" long, twisting needles. This is a dense plant that provides a thick carpet of greenery. This conifer is easy to grow and provides color and texture throughout the year.

The dense, compact, mounding growth habit makes this shrub excellent for foundation plantings and small spaces. The Slowmound Mugo Pine is a hardy plant that can easily handle the heat of summer and the chill of winter.
