Snow White Indian Hawthorn, Rhaphiolepis indica 'Snow White', is an evergreen shrub with clusters of white spring flowers from spring to summer. Foliage emerges red in the spring, maturing to a deep, glossy green in the summer. Leaves turn a deep maroon in the winter. Makes an excellent accent, foundation shrub and informal hedge.
Snow White Indian Hawthorn Care
Plant in well-drained, average soil. Water regularly to to establish and continue watering weekly or more often during periods of extreme heat. Fertilize in early spring before new growth appears. Prune annually in early spring, if a more formal look is desired.
