Snow White Indian Hawthorn (Rhaphiolepis indica 'Snow White') delivers clean white spring flowers over glossy evergreen foliage. This compact, rounded shrub often grows about 3 feet tall and wide in landscapes. Bronze to reddish new growth matures to deep green, and may take on burgundy tones in cooler weather. This small evergreen has a softer flower display than boxwood or holly and is a prime candidate for sunny low hedges.

'Snow White' is known for pure white, lightly fragrant blooms and good resistance to leaf spot compared with older forms. Blue-black berries can follow the flowers and may draw birds later in the season. Snow White Indian Hawthorn tolerates heat, coastal exposure, and some drought once established, but it can be browsed by deer in high-pressure areas. Plant it as a foundation shrub, low hedge, border edging, mass planting, container accent, or flowering evergreen groundcover in warm climates.
