This annual is highly desirable for hanging baskets and containers, appreciated for its prolific pink flowers and mounding, cascading habit. It blooms in spring, through summer until a hard frost. Snowstorm Pink Bacopa makes up for its short stature – 4 to 10 inches tall – with a 24-inch trailing or spreading habit.

Pink is one of six Snowstorm bacopa colors. It fits the bill as a filler/spiller plant in containers, and as dollops of color in the landscape or when used in a border or summer ground cover.

Snowstorm® Pink Bacopa Care

Grow this plant in full sun. It tolerates part shade (4 to 6 hours of sun). Fertilize according to label directions for annuals in containers or the landscape. In containers, use a potting mix, which is specially formulated to aid drainage.

Bacopa is considered an easy care plant, but letting it get dry causes it to drop flowers and flower buds. It stops flowering for at least two weeks while new buds form. Good companions, such as verbena, coleus or petunias, will guard against this. Companion plants serve as indicators of dry soil.

In the ground, space plants about 20 inches apart. In pots, plant three in a 10- or 12-inch hanging basket or other container.
