Sol Biotics Repot Recovery by Sol Soils is a simple add-on that helps plants settle in after repotting. It’s made to reduce transplant stress while encouraging fine root hairs and new branching, which is exactly what you want when a plant is adjusting to fresh media. You can mix it once and use it as a soil drench or a foliar spray, so it fits whatever watering style you already have. We often use it during repots and when moving cuttings from water or LECA into soil, since that transition can be the roughest stretch for roots.

This formula is designed for quick uptake, so plants don’t have to burn extra energy to access what they need during recovery. Non-plant food ingredients include humic acids (from leonardite) and lactose to support the microbe side of the soil, which can help keep the root zone calmer after disturbance. It’s also made for ongoing use, so you can keep it in rotation once every month or two for plants that tend to sulk after any change.

Product Tips

  • Use it during the 2–3 waterings before and after you repot to smooth the transition.
  • For a soil drench, water as normal with the mixed solution and let excess drain away.
  • For foliar use, spray both sides of leaves and apply when lights or sunlight are low.
  • Mix only what you’ll use in a day or two, and store the concentrate sealed between uses.
  • Pair it with good airflow after repotting to help the potting mix dry evenly and reduce stress.
