The blossoms rise above its attractive blue-green foliage. This North American native perennial is similar in color and form to the famous native Colorado Blue Columbine.
Songbird 'Blue Bird' Columbine grows in a bushy clump to a height of between 12 and 18 inches with a spread of 12 to 16 inches. It’s a great choice for border, island or cottage gardens and mass planting or naturalized areas in your landscape. It can also be grown as a container plant. This plant is short-lived but is prone to reseeding without becoming invasive.
