Are you looking for a unique plant to add to your landscape? The Spiralis Corkscrew Rush can provide that. It has deep green spiraled foliage that grows in a winding habit. It thrives in dry to wet conditions and is heat tolerant.

The Spiralis Corkscrew Rush is planted for its foliage. It is a dark green color and has a twisted, winding growing habit that is incredibly unique. This plant will tolerate various conditions and thrive in heat. While the Spiralis Corkscrew Rush is largely grown for its foliage, it does produce small, green-yellow blooms in the summer. The mature dimensions are ten to twelve inches tall with a spread of twelve to eighteen inches. It is a popular choice as a filler in containers. Plant in water settings or add to your landscape.

Spiralis Corkscrew Rush Care

Plant in part to full sun. This plant thrives best when given four to six hours of sun a day. It prefers a high level of moisture. However, it is adaptable and will do very well in average soils with regular and consistent moisture. Soil Ph levels can vary from neutral to acidic. The Spiralis Corkscrew Rush is a self-feeder, making fertilizer is not required. Cut off dead foliage in the spring.

Spiralis Corkscrew Rush Spacing

The Spiralis Corkscrew Rush reaches a height of ten to twelve inches. Spacing should be twelve to eighteen inches, center on center. Container size should be at a minimum, three gallons for the health of the plant.
