This rare and unique clematis gives off a whole new look! Instead of growing as a vine like most clematis, this one grows into a shrub! It has adorable blue bell flowers that begin to bloom in May with rebloom in late summer. The Stand by Me Clematis Bush brings pollinators to your yard and is resistant to rabbits and deer.

The blooms that first appear in the late spring are blue and bell shaped. This one does rebloom in the late summer as well. Once blooming is finished, creamy thread like seed heads are left. The foliage is green and a perfect match for this perennial. The Stand by Me Clematis Bush grows to be a height of thirty-four to thirty-eight inches. The spread can reach up to thirty-six inches. It can be planted as a focal point, as a border plant, it will do well in mass planting, and it makes for wonderful cut flowers.

Be sure to plant in full sun, however it will tolerate some light shade. Soil needs to be well drained and slightly alkaline. The Stand by Me Clematis Bush has average water needs but is not picky about soil type. Roots should stay shaded. Apply a layer of mulch around the base of the plant to help keep soil moist.
