The Strongbox Inkberry Holly is a fantastic alternative to boxwood shrubs from Proven Winners ColorChoice. This bush is resistant to disease, pests, and winter burn. It is native to North America and very low maintenance. The evergreen leaves form a rounded shape that can be pruned into any shape. This plant also grows faster than boxwood shrubs. It also has white flowers that bloom in the summer.
These shrubs only grow 2 to 3 feet tall and wide. Perfect for small spaces and garden planters in entryways, patios and decks. Plant these in a location that gets at least 4 hours of direct sunlight per day. These are winter hardy in growing zones 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b, 8a, 8b, 9a, 9b.
