Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia (Echibeckia™ Summerina™ Yellow) is a perennial that features large, long-lasting blooms. This plant produces bold 3-inch blooms during the early summer to mid-fall. Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia has showy, deep gold petals with an orange inner halo. Summerina® reaches 20-24 inches tall and has a 16-18 inch spread.

This Echinacea and Rudbeckia hybrid has a clumping, upright growth habit. Summerina® is low maintenance and drought tolerant when established. Beneficial pollinators like butterflies are attracted to Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia’s brightly colored blooms.

Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia Care

Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia prefers to be planted in a location that receives full sun. Ensure that this plant gets at least 4 to 6 hours of sunlight per day. The soil for Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia should be moist and well draining. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings.

Remove spent flowers throughout the growing season to promote re-blooming. At the end of the growing season, remove the flower stalks to prepare for next spring.

Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia Spacing

Space these plants about 18 inches apart. Summerina® Yellow Echibeckia is great for native or pollinator gardens. It’s also grown in containers and borders, and commonly grown for cut-flower arrangements.
