    spikenard -- dead on...

Posted by Gardening in Boulder CO on Aug 22, 2023

I ordered a Japanese spikenard that arrived poorly packaged and badly damaged. Asked for a replacement, which arrived in the same condition. They put a #2 pot into a 4 foot tall carton with no support or container ties, so the plant just banged around the box in transit. I asked for a refund on 17 July, and they agreed, but no refund to my credit card. I asked a second time and they agreed again, claiming a problem at their end. But still no refund. Asked a THIRD time and they ghosted me, several times. Their website claims to have issued a refund, and obviously they have my credit card number else how could they have billed me in the first place? But no refund and now no responses to multiple requests to check their billing. I ended up appealing the charge to my credit card company. Bad products, refund promises not kept, and unresponsive. Very unprofessional.

    Disappointed

Posted by Customer on May 11, 2023

The roots of my Sun King Golden Japanese Spikenard were weak. Certainly not strong enough to put in the ground. Some of the annuals I buy have stronger roots than these bushes. We shall see.

Lovely but different height info then on...

Posted by Ashley Giedroyce on Jul 27, 2022

I researched and researched the perfect plant to put in my mostly shaded area and found this sun king bush that says will only mature to 2-3 ft tall and wide. I received by bush and the information stake inside it says maturity is 5-6ft tall and wide which won’t be a good fit for the location I have it at. Guess I’ll see what happens but I feel like I bought something that isn’t going to be a good fit due to improper description on here

Beautiful plant. It brightens up my front yard and I'm happy with my buying experience as I got it fairly quickly and for a good price.
