The Sunblaze® Dragon Fruit Miniature Rose is a stunning compact rose that produces a profusion of fuchsia pink blooms. Botanically known as Rosa 'Meiheliot', this lightly scented rose grows to around 18 inches high and blooms all summer long. Lush green foliage provides the perfect contrasting backdrop for the bright flowers.

The Sunblaze® Dragon Fruit Miniature Rose has impressive disease resistance and is winter hardy down to USDA zone 5a. It has an upright and compact form and will bloom from late spring into the fall. Plant it at the front of a border for some eye-popping color or grow it in a container for a focal piece.

Sunblaze® Dragon Fruit Miniature Rose Care

The Sunblaze® Dragon Fruit Miniature Rose grows well in full sun to partial shade. It prefers a rich, moist and well-drained soil and benefits from an application of rose fertilizer in early spring and then later during the summer. Water regularly to keep the soil moist, but not overly wet or soggy.

Prune Sunblaze® Dragon Fruit in early spring to remove any weak, dead or damaged wood. Deadhead frequently to keep the plant looking its best and to promote reblooming. When grown in a container, frequent irrigation will be required to prevent the soil from drying out.

The Sunblaze® Dragon Fruit Miniature Rose grows to a height and width of around 18 inches. Space plants around 15 to 20 inches apart depending on the desired effect when mature.
