With its non-stop blooms, the Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ Verbena is ideal for providing container interest all summer long. A vigorous Verbena hybrid, Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ features flowers in soft pink shades above a mound of green foliage. It grows to 12 inches high with a trailing nature.
Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ Verbena is heat tolerant, low maintenance, and easy for even the most amateur gardeners. It will flower until the first frost and is suitable for growing in zones 8 to 11. Its trailing habit makes it perfect for planting in hanging baskets and containers or at the front of a border.
Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ Verbena Care
The Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ Verbena happily grows in either full or partial sun. It prefers well-drained soil and will tolerate most types as long as good drainage is present. This verbena will struggle in heavy clay soils. Feed with a slow-release fertilizer at the time of planting. Container plants will benefit from a liquid feed applied in the second half of the season. Allow the soil to dry out slightly in between watering. Tired and leggy plants can be rejuvenated by trimming back growth by one-third.
The Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ Verbena will bloom repeatedly from planting until the onset of winter. When grown in a pot, verbenas will require more frequent watering than when grown directly in the soil.
Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ Verbena Spacing
The Superbena® Pink Cashmere™ Verbena grows to 6 to 12 inches tall and 18 to 30 inches across. A spacing of 10 to 14 inches will allow it to fill the gaps over time.
