The Taylor Red Cedar is a hardy evergreen that is attractive and easy to maintain. Also known as Juniperus virginiana, this tall, upright shrub has a tree-like appearance. The silvery, blue-green foliage has a frond-like appearance. This slim shrub has a very tidy appearance and narrows slightly near the top.

New plants need regular watering for the first two years, while established plants need supplemental water during a dry spell. Use a balanced, slow-release fertilizer once each spring.
