Tiny Comfort Asiatic Lily (Lilium a. 'Tiny Comfort') is easy to grow and rewarding. Large, deep red flowers will attract hummingbirds and butterflies to your garden. Each stem holds multiple upward-facing blooms. Hardy in USDA zones 3-8, this summer bloomer can reach 14-16 inches tall and wide.

The Tiny Comfort Asiatic Lily is fairly low maintenance while producing gorgeous, long-lasting blooms. These flowers will add a velvety red color to your containers, beds, and borders. Tiny Comfort Asiatic Lilies also make a bold addition to cut floral arrangements. They can even be grown indoors as potted plants given the right care.

Tiny Comfort Asiatic Lily Care

Tiny Comfort Asiatic Lilies prefer to grow in full sun but can tolerate part shade. Provide these plants with at least 4-6 hours a day of bright light. Plant this lily in a sunny location that has well-draining soil. Water Tiny Comfort Asiatic Lilies when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry.

For best results, apply a thin compost layer to the surrounding soil in the early spring. Then, when blooms appear, use a potassium-rich fertilizer every 2 weeks. During late fall, prune only when the leaves have died and turned brown. You can then cut down the flower stalks close to the ground. Keep the area surrounding the lilies mulched to care for their roots, both during early spring and late fall.

Tiny Comfort Asiatic Lily Spacing

Space the lily plants 16 - 18 inches apart for best growth results. Tiny Comfort is a great mid-sized feature for your mixed flower beds.
