The Tiny Dino Asiatic Lily is a beauty that is easy to maintain. This dwarf variety is also known as Lilium Asiatic and features bright orange flowers that span 4 inches across. The flowers bloom from thick stems that also feature narrow, strap-like foliage in medium green.

This cultivar does not get very tall and only reaches about 1 foot high, making it perfect for containers or a mixed bed. Feature this beauty in a rock garden or near the front of a bed so the flowers can be admired. Trim the blooms to add color to arrangements. Grow this plant as a perennial in zones 2 through 8.

Tiny Dino Asiatic Lily Care

Plant the Tiny Dino Asiatic Lily in full sun, in rich, moist, but well-drained soil. This Lily needs water when the top couple of inches of soil are dry.  Apply a 5-10-10 fertilizer in the spring when new growth appears.

Remove the flowers when they fade, but keep the stems and foliage. The greenery will continue to soak up sunlight and store that away for next year.

Tiny Dino Asiatic Lily Spacing

The Tiny Dino Asiatic Lily has a mounded, upright growth habit that stands 12 to 14 inches tall and 10 to 12 inches wide. Space plants approximately 1 foot apart and stagger the rows for mass planting.
