The only thing better than one Butterfly Bush is three, and the Triple Treat Butterfly Bush packs in three spectacular cultivars of Buddleia davidii: 'Cranrazz’, ‘True Blue’, and 'Violet Blush’. The three curated plants have identical care needs and complementary good looks. The tiny flowers bloom in massive cone-shaped clusters, creating an impressive display. The dark cranberry-red, blue-violet, and lavender flowers create a pretty vignette and bloom all summer.
Medium-green, lance-shaped foliage gives the plant a full and lush appearance. Add the Triple Treat Butterfly Bush to mixed beds, borders, and containers. Line a walkway or add height and color to a bed or container. This plant is a favorite of butterflies and other pollinators. The Triple Treat Butterfly Bush grows in zones 5 through 9.
Triple Treat Butterfly Bush Care
Grow Triple Treat Butterfly Bush in full sun. Plant this shrub in rich, moist, well-drained soil. Water weekly or when the soil is dry. Container-grown plants need water more often than landscape plants. Apply a slow-release fertilizer in the spring to enjoy an abundant bloom season.
Shape the plants as needed in spring. Trim leggy growth around midsummer to rejuvenate growth, creating a more dense form.
