The Watch Chain Plant, or Crassula muscosa, is a small succulent that grows into a tiny bush. It grows up to a foot tall. The overlapping stacked green leaves completely hide the stems and are tightly compacted. The unique plant is often compared to undersea coral because of how it looks. The delicate leaves are reminiscent of tight jewelers links that are used to attach a pocket watch to a vest. There are small yellow and green flowers that appear tight along with the leaves on the stems in spring to mid summer.
