Hellebores are a great choice for moist woodland gardens, and will perform well in a variety of sites as long as there is some shade (particularly in the afternoon). They offer evergreen foliage, vigorous growth, and prolific early spring blooms. Try them as a border plant, cut flower, or even in a container to enjoy the beautiful double flowers up close.
Wedding Party® Flower Girl Lenten Rose Care
Wedding Party Flower Girl is like other Hellebores in its easy-care maintenance and pest-resistant nature. This is an adaptable plant, but it prefers moist, rich soil. Lenten Rose likes to be watered occasionally, but it can withstand short periods of drought. Flower Girl Lenten Rose requires part-to-full shade to thrive. If planting beneath a tree, choose a deciduous tree to ensure that the plant gets enough sunlight in fall and winter to support growth in the spring.
Mulch in the fall and transplant new seedlings that root in the mulch in the spring to increase the amount of Flower Girl Hellebores in your garden. Prune back old growth and fertilize in the early spring.
