This low-maintenance perennial is a Helleborus hybrid that features absolutely striking blooms. The double blooms have soft pink petals wholly covered in tiny dark pink spots. The large speckled blooms are about 3 inches wide and provide a striking contrast against the glossy green foliage.
Lenten Roses bloom in the spring, but the greenery remains in place until the fall. Feature this plant in borders or mass plantings protected from intense sunlight or strong winds. The beautiful blooms make wonderful cut flowers. This easy-care plant attracts pollinators like bees, but it is deer and rabbit resistant. This variety grows as a perennial in USDA zones 4 through 9.
