If you are looking for some attractive ground cover, the What A Doozie Sedum is the perfect choice. A spreading stonecrop, this sedum hybrid produces green and white leaves that take on a pink blush in the fall. Its variegation will not revert or fade and can provide evergreen cover in southern areas.

What A Doozie Sedum is a low-growing hybrid with a spreading habit. It is sun loving and drought tolerant once established. This sedum is perfect for growing in a rock or gravel garden, and nicely fills empty spaces in container arrangements. Grow this sedum in zones 5 to 9.

What A Doozie Sedum Care

The What A Doozie Sedum is amazingly low maintenance. Simply plant it in free-draining soil in full sun and let it flourish. It will tolerate most substrates except hard, compacted soil and those prone to waterlogging. You can help it establish by watering regularly during the first year; afterward, it only needs supplemental water during hot and dry spells. Fertilizer can lead to leggy growth and is not needed.

Generally, no pruning is necessary. However, you can remove spent flowering stems and wayward growth for a neater appearance.

What A Doozie Sedum Spacing

When fully grown, the What A Doozie Sedum can reach 2 to 5 inches tall and 11 to 14 inches wide. When grown as ground cover, you can space this sedum around 13 to 16 inches apart.
