This plant also likes consistent water, so give the plant a drink before the soil dries out, but be careful not to overwater because this plant does not like soggy conditions. Well-draining, rich soil that has a 7.0 to 8.0 pH is ideal. Apply a water-soluble fertilizer every other week during the growing season.
