Yin® Viburnum lends lush and gorgeous foliage to your garden with thick, leathery leaves and deep veining. This shrub may be foliage focused, but Yin® Viburnum will also give you sweet and showy white flowers in springtime. If planted with a companion viburnum, the shrub will produce gorgeous blue fruits later in the season as well! Bred for its heat tolerance Yin® Viburnum will outperform other viburnums and will look gorgeous no matter what season it is.

This shrub will be an excellent addition to any garden border or landscape planting. It can be used for mass plantings as nice hedges, or as a standout focal point with its showy white flowers that make excellent cut flowers. Yin® Viburnum is a low maintenance evergreen with a mounded habit. It is deer and rabbit resistant along with being bred to be heat tolerant.

Yin® Viburnum Care

Yin® Viburnum is easy to care for and is adaptable to many locations from part shade to shade or part sun to sun. For the best show of flowers and berries, plant the shrub in a sunnier location. Be sure to choose a location to plant in well-drained soil. Water thoroughly when planting once established it has average water needs.

Yin® Viburnum is a low-maintenance shrub and does not require pruning until the plant is a few years old. Once mature, prune the old stems off in the late winter or very early spring to promote flowering and fruiting. If berries are desired, plant Yin with Yang viburnum (different varieties) within 50’ of one another so that they cross pollinate. Shrubs can be fertilized in early spring with a woody specific granular fertilizer. Yin® Viburnum is hardy from zones 7-9.

Yin® Viburnum Spacing

This short shrub will reach a height of 24-48 inches with a spread of up to 48 inches. Plants Yin® Viburnum 48 inches from each other or its neighboring plants.
