The Zagreb Tickseed is a hardy plant that effortlessly handles summer heat and provides a bright burst of color. Bold yellow daisy flowers feature wide petals that are gently rounded and surround a darker center. The Coreopsis verticillata blooms from late June through late August for consistent color during the warmer months. Abundant green needle-like foliage gives this vigorous-growing plant a full look. 

This upright, clump-forming plant has a compact form and makes a striking and low-maintenance addition to beds, borders, or mass plantings. Pollinators favor Tickseed while in bloom, and birds will enjoy the seeds after the flowers fade. Zagreb Tickseed loves full sun, so select a spot that receives at least 6 hours of sunlight. Use moist but well-drained soil that is slightly acidic or neutral.
