The Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine (Syngonium 'Berry Allusion') is a striking, low-maintenance houseplant known for its compact growth habit and pastel pink-veined foliage. As part of the Allusion Series, this Syngonium is perfect for indoor spaces, thriving in a variety of light conditions while adding elegance to your decor. This versatile plant can be grown bushy on tabletops or as a climbing vine with proper support.

Best Locations For Growing Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine

This plant thrives in low to medium indirect light, making it ideal for offices, living rooms, and bathrooms. High-humidity environments, like kitchens and bathrooms, encourage healthy growth and vibrant foliage. Keep the plant out of direct sunlight, which can bleach or burn its delicate leaves. Note that it is toxic to pets and should be placed out of their reach.

Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine Sunlight Requirements

The Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine prefers bright but diffused light. Avoid harsh, direct sun to prevent leaf scorch. Low-light conditions are tolerated but may result in slower growth. Rotate the plant occasionally to promote even growth.

Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine Care

The Arrowhead Vine grows best in moist, well-draining potting soil. A traditional soil-based mix enriched with organic matter works well. Allow the top 2 inches of soil to dry before watering, keeping the plant consistently moist but not waterlogged. Repot annually in spring to maintain healthy growth or every other year to limit size. Use terra-cotta or clay pots to wick away excess moisture if needed.

Prune regularly to maintain a bushy appearance or train the plant on a moss pole or trellis if you prefer a vining growth habit. Pinch off new growth to encourage fullness and remove any yellowed or damaged leaves to promote vigor.

Watering Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine

Water the Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine when the top 2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. During the growing season (spring and summer), water thoroughly and allow excess to drain. Reduce watering frequency during winter when the plant’s growth slows. Signs of under-watering include wilting or browning leaves, while over-watering can lead to root rot.

The plant thrives in high humidity, ideally above 50%. Mist the leaves regularly, place the pot on a pebble tray filled with water, or use a humidifier to create a moisture-rich environment. Low humidity may cause browning edges or curling leaves.

Feeding Berry Allusion Arrowhead Vine

Feed monthly during the growing season (spring through fall) with a diluted liquid fertilizer to support steady growth. Skip fertilization during winter when the plant is dormant. Over-fertilizing may cause salt buildup and leaf discoloration, so always dilute fertilizer to half or quarter strength of the label recommendation.

Plant Addicts Warranty - 1 Year (Extra Purchase Required)

We encourage all plant lovers to purchase the Plant Addicts Warranty, whether you're a new gardener or an expert. There are many variables outside of anyone's control that can cause a plant to die. Guarantee and Warranty

Plant Shipping

Below are some factors we consider when determining when to ship the plants depending on the timing of the order.

Winter to Early Spring

We ship only when it's warm enough to plant in your growing zone.
Sometimes plants aren't completely ready to sell and ship in early spring. We will wait until the plants are ready before shipping so you don't get a subpar product.
For Southern plants we will be able to ship much earlier than plants coming from our northern nursery.

Summer

If there is extreme heat we may delay shipping for a week or several weeks.
We review what areas the plants are traveling through as well as your location.

Fall into Winter

We’ll ship plants out all the way up to the end of the fall planting season!

Winter

Get your order in early to reserve your plants for Spring planting!

Once your plant is shipped you’ll receive an automated email with tracking information.
